Nomadic Furniture

I think the purpose of the Nomadic design furniture is meant to be seen as very unique and found that it is special which will make people want to have the furniture more. I think this type of furniture is a great idea, and the attitude toward this furniture is serious, but at the same time almost sarcastic. It has a look to it that is rarely seen, and also uses cheap materials to build the furniture. By the way they put the informal words together and use a nickname for the author shows a bit of relaxation, almost to make the people feel comfortable and feel less pressured while considering to purchase the furniture. With the words and drawings written by hand shows care from the author and designer, it also gives that less pressured feeling while a customer is looking at the product. A hand drawn product may look unprofessional to some people, but to most it feels better and they have more respect for the product. The directions on page 25 are very easy to follow, although the might not be that easy for all to read and follow. Having a visual is always a great help in building any product, and I think it is a great visual to follow. To make the steps more complex, they could possibly make the directions more detailed and clear for people to follow. Overall I believe the designer did a great job of hand drawing the design and the directions on how to put the product together. Hand drawing or writing anything always shows more care in a product. Handwriting the address on an envelope to a customer after they purchased a product, shows a lot more care and that’s why I like that the author hand drew the product.
