Analyzing Wartime Posters

I chose to analyze the poster with Uncle Sam's hand breaking through the flag. I think poster shows the best example of what they are trying to say. It seems like their main focus is when people read the poster that they feel the recruitors are trying to reach every single person. Also I believe it's not just about recruiting new soilders but also encouraging people to buy war bonds and be supportive of the soilders. This poster reaches to more people because they emphasize uncle sam's hand by just focusing on the hand as well as making the word YOU much bigger than the rest of the words. Just looking at all of the posters, I felt that this poster made me feel more like they were reaching to individuals rather than just everybody.
